Blackberry Pda

In early 2007, the air will come. OnAir is a service that uses satellite technology to allow passengers to use air transport equipment wireless as cellular phones, Internet connections from computers and Blackberries during a flight. The debate over the use of wireless technology during the flight lasts for years, and now is about to happen, the debate is likely to keep warm.
First, you should know that the first wave of what happens will not be on U.S. flights. Aircraft manufacturer Airbus, which is the creation of this technology is the sale to Air France. Air France should have the service provided to passengers in early 2007. If passengers pay for the service, and they pay for the headphones a film is not yet known. Two other airlines, the British airline bmi and TAP Air Portugal are considering using OnAir, but nothing has been finalized.
So what is the discussion of all this? Who does not want the convenience of using your phone cell during a long flight, get important e-mails on your Blackberry or the luxury of surfing the Internet to pass the time? Apparently, many people and very good reasons.
Discussion of security
It has been a constant concern that the use of mobile phones (cell phones us Americans) and other devices that wireless technology can interfere with navigation equipment on aircraft. Recent technological advances in navigation equipment and technology cell phone seems to dismiss this concern, but not everyone is convinced. It is feared that the sailing team from the age of the aircraft can be affected.
The mobile phone Debate
Well, I suppose the problem of security is compatible and there is concern that communications technology without interfering with navigation equipment of the aircraft. What objection is to use cell phones during flight?
Surveys have shown that most air travelers against the use of mobile phones on board aircraft, it would be downright annoying to sit next to someone that is to receive and make phone calls for hours on a flight. They think it was between two constant partners.
Ordinary meaning seems to say that people actually not be so inconsiderate as to have hours long conversations on their mobile phones during flights. But experience has shown when it comes to phones mobile, most people lose their common sense. People hold strong personal conversations in restaurants and grocery stores and buses. Be encouraged with a pocket for mobile phone States, even though it was outlawed. So anyone really believe that people use common sense and consideration during air travel? Not really.
You can see the script. Business people who wish to receive care what they think a company called very important and we ended up talking more than expected. Or a mother who just wants to check their children for one minute will end up having to talk to each before hanging up.
No wonder that air travel passengers refers to mobile phone use will become a nuisance during flights. You are a disgrace to bottom on the ground. Another concern for some air travelers will have the tension that all this will create difficulties, so perhaps leaflets and increasing nervousness frustrated and pushing them on the board.
Some people are already nervous about flight. Add plan to reduce the composition of overcrowding, constant threat of terrorism, restrictions on what can be done, and now the addition of the eruption of a mobile phone user sitting right next nervous steering wheel, and someone might just snap.
What Internet connection?
The travelers are not so strongly against the use of connections Internet for PC and PDA, and Blackberry. These devices are very quiet. Many passengers already use their laptops on a flight, not just online when use it. Being able to send and receive e-mails during a robbery, it may be convenient for most people, especially business travelers. It seems that many discussions on these devices until the security is not a concern.
What can we do?
When should you start worrying about this issue? From that time, U.S. companies not seem to consider using OnAir or any other similar service. A report on MSN Travel, said that airlines who have applied – AirTran, Spirit and U.S. Airways – all said they have listened to passengers say they do not want cell phones used in aircraft and against are the addition of these services. However, the question is whether these services rather than caught in Europe and be a money maker for companies that use it, companies U.S. Air jump on board? In an era of diminishing returns, can they resist?
So, if demand that Air France is giving OnAir success and jump aboard U.S. carriers, which can be done to ensure that mobile phone use does not become a problem board?
One solution is to have the use of cell phone time. Maybe with little light above his seat that lets you know if you need to the seat belt or not, could be another light that lets you know if this is the right time to use your cell phone or not. Speaking time cells could be limited for long flights and on flights at night, when most people want to sleep.
Another solution is to give the crew the opportunity to disable the voice feature on devices for limited periods. Eventually more than a messenger and email is allowed, but talk is disabled.
